Prof. Olivier Bruyère

Prof. Olivier Bruyère is a Professor of Clinical Epidemiology at the University of Liège (Belgium) and heads the Research Unit in Public Health, Epidemiology and Health Economics. His work focuses on osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, sarcopenia and health economics, and he is a key figure in international guideline development.
He is the Chief Executive Officer of ESCEO, General Secretary of the Belgian Bone Club, and President of the Belgian Ageing Muscle Society (BAMS). He also serves on the Scientific Advisory Board of the International Osteoporosis Foundation (IOF). His broader affiliations include OARSI, American College of Rheumatology (ACR), ASBMR, and Société Française de Rhumatologie, positioning him as a central contributor to global musculoskeletal research and policy.
