Dr. Dominik Pförringer

Dr. Dominik Pförringer is a German orthopaedic and trauma surgeon, combining clinical work with expertise in digital health, healthcare innovation, and entrepreneurship. He is affiliated with Technical University of Munich (TUM) and serves as Academic Director of the TUM Venture Lab Healthcare, and founder of the Digital Health Summit.
He is Co-Chair of the Digitalisation Section (AG Digitalisierung) of the DGOU, contributing to the transformation of orthopaedics through technology. He also serves as a reviewer for innovation programmes of the European Commission and is actively involved in shaping future healthcare models and digital transformation in medicine.
