Dr. Alberto Gobbi

Dr. Alberto Gobbi is an orthopaedic surgeon and internationally recognised expert in cartilage repair and sports medicine, based in Milan, with extensive experience in joint preservation and regenerative treatments. His clinical and research work focuses on advanced cartilage restoration, minimally invasive surgical techniques, and the management of complex osteoarthritis cases.
He has held major leadership roles internationally, including President of the International Cartilage Regeneration & Joint Preservation Society (ICRS). He is the Founder and Chairman of the OASI Bioresearch Foundation, which is recognised as an ICRS and ISAKOS Teaching Centre. He has also served on the Executive Board of ISAKOS, chaired its Biologic Task Force and Publications Committee, and collaborates with major societies including ESSKA. He has been awarded honorary membership of AAOS and AANA, recognising his global contribution to orthopaedics and sports medicine.
