Prof. Ali Mobasheri

Prof. Ali Mobasheri is a Professor of Musculoskeletal Biology at the University of Oulu, Faculty of Medicine, in Finland, where his research focuses on osteoarthritis, cartilage biology, and OA biomarkers. He is internationally recognised for his contribution to translational and clinical OA research, bridging science and patient care.
He is the Immediate Past President of the Osteoarthritis Research Society International (OARSI) and has served on the OARSI Board of Directors. He is also a Scientific Advisory Board member of ESCEO, a member of the International Cartilage Regeneration & Joint Preservation Society (ICRS) and has contributed to its scientific committees. In addition, he serves as Senior Strategic Advisor to the WHO Collaborating Center for Musculoskeletal Health and Healthy Ageing (University of Liège) and has held multiple visiting and adjunct academic roles internationally.
